Just wondering...! 😬

A tension type headache, feeling really cold and shivery, slight redness in eyes, nausea and feeling fatigued.

annlee3817 · 05/02/2021 23:57

Sore tongue, groggy, bit of a headache, tired but not able to sleep and earache, just hoping it stays like that and isn't the calm before the storm, feeling a little anxious about it

RosesAndLemonade · 06/02/2021 03:42

Very sore throat and a slight cough for about an hour in the night for 3 weeks. Bit achey for a few days. Other than that nothing, I'd take a cold over that any day

RosesAndLemonade · 06/02/2021 03:43

That made no sense I meant id take that over a cold!!!!

Figgyboa · 06/02/2021 04:02

Earache, nasal congestion

Aquamarine1029 · 06/02/2021 04:02

My daughter started out with a sore throat, dizziness, and and all over shit/tired feeling. I got it from her, and we both had horrible headaches, horrendous diarrhoea, the worst body aches ever, and total exhaustion. My daughter lost her sense of taste and smell for a month, I didn't. Luckily, neither one of us has issues with our lungs, coughing, or trouble breathing.

MiniTheMinx · 06/02/2021 06:53

Mild cold symptoms which included being a bit stuffed up, a few sneezes, mild headache. I lost sense of smell for about 4 days. No tiredness or fatigue, in fact I had more energy than I have some days normally.

HotCupOfNo · 06/02/2021 07:21

Scratchy throat, cough and runny nose, then that night I had dreadful body aches. Got my positive on Wednesday morning. Sore throat isn't as bad now but cough has got worse and lungs hurt. The body aches are something else.

Neenan · 06/02/2021 07:24

Loss of taste and smell. A VERY slight tickley cough, think cough cough cough 2-3 times in a 24 hour period and a bit of brain fog a week later.

That’s it. Temperature stayed between 36.2 and 37 throughout.

Dinocan · 06/02/2021 07:33

I’m on day 10 I think. Had an awful migraine one afternoon with blotchy vision, thought it was odd. After that mild cold symptoms (slightly sore throat, stuffy nose and tickle in my throat). Maybe felt a bit more tired some days. I’m really hoping that’s it. Big outbreak at dh work and everyone has had similar symptoms. Also heard of other people locally and literally everyone has started with a sore throat. The guy who suspects he came in with it is pretty pissed off that the testing criteria is so narrow, as none of them would have even got tested if it wasn’t for my dh who got a test to be extra cautious as he was feeling really wiped out (he’s now really ill with it). It could have spread even further. They’re going to need to rethink testing if it’s presenting as a cold in so many people!

UnusuallyUsual · 06/02/2021 07:35

I was in contact with someone who tested positive so decided to get tested. I was shocked when it came back positive as I thought I'd know if I had it.
I had nasal congestion, nothing unusual with that, and some sudafed I had in the house sorted that out and day 8 I lost my sense of taste. That was it.
I worked from home.
The friend who gave it to me was in hospital for several weeks.
I still can't get my head around how mild I had it in comparison to others.

DuchessofHastings1 · 06/02/2021 07:54

Flu like symptoms but slightly worse.Head ache, achy all over, stuffy nose.
This was back in April last year when tests weren't readily available. I only knew I had it instead of the flu as I had a tight chest. Felt like someone was grabbing my lungs which I've never experienced before. Within 10 days, I was up and running like normal.

usernotfound0000 · 06/02/2021 10:28

Headache and achy body, runny nose, sore throat.

Blossom4538 · 06/02/2021 11:43

Thanks all. I’m not sure if I have mild symptoms - a few of those and a v strange pain down my right side (not muscular) - had that for around 5 days now.

annlee3817 · 06/02/2021 12:22

If you haven't been tested I'd say just get one done, I was shocked when I got my positive on Wednesday

Mrsmummy90 · 06/02/2021 12:28

Sore throat, runny nose, high temp, loss of smell, just a feeling of being unwell.

larry5 · 06/02/2021 12:57

The only symptoms I had were sneezing and a runny nose but because I reported them on the Zoe Covid19 app they suggested that I get a test although I didn't have to. I was very surprised when the test came back positive.

My symptoms didn't get any worse so I can see why it is being transmitted so easily.

2boysand1princess · 06/02/2021 13:09

I was told I was positive for covid just before my c section. I still think it was a false positive.
If I think about it now the only symptom I had was this foggy head like feeling for a few days. I thought it was because I was having sleepless nights due to being heavily pregnant and nervous about upcoming 3rd c section. Other than that absolutely nothing which is why I’m sure it was a false positive!! Makes no difference to me, as it’s been 8 months since the positive, so chances are I could catch it again and have bad symptoms this time round.

Blossom4538 · 06/02/2021 13:10

Did any of you find you caught it easily? We hardly go out as a family currently. Perhaps the odd takeaway coffee and supermarket shop once a week - I’m scrupulous with hand gel, washing, careful with post abs deliveries and being cautious etc, as I care for my Mum.

PuzzledObserver · 06/02/2021 13:28

At the beginning - stuffy nose, cough, chills (couldn’t get warm)

After a couple of days, cough and fatigue. The fatigue was the most debilitating. Never enough to be bedridden, but for 2 weeks, ordinary activities of daily living left me very tired and needing a rest. Then picked up steadily, back to normal after about 4 weeks.

I caught it from DH. He caught it from his job in a care home, wearing a mask (better than surgical, but not the fully fitted one) all the time. He works 15 hours a week.

sylbunny · 06/02/2021 13:34

When I tested positive I only had nasal congestion and I'd had a headache that I couldn't shift for days. One night it was definitely a migraine. The breathlessness and flu symptoms didn't come until day 7ish

TryingNotToPanicOverCovid · 06/02/2021 13:34

I had it mild and caught it from walking outdoors.

I think a supermarket shop every week is a highly likely possibility.

A friend was sent by zoe to be tested and just ahd a cold. Another friend a temperature and exhaustion hut otherwise fine.

I had the cough but it wasnt really one I'd notice and would normally brush off. I felt v tired, a couple of days I had a headache, few days achey. Not as ill as a chest infection and was so relieved not to end up in hospital.

TryingNotToPanicOverCovid · 06/02/2021 13:35

I think one problem is we keep being told about the 3 main symptoms in the uk. Yet in order to get a test you have to bend truth and say you have one of those 3 symptoms further confirming the stats about them.

In soem other countries the range of symptoms considered is much broader.

Blossom4538 · 06/02/2021 22:44

Thanks all. Felt a little strange, will see how I feel tomorrow. X

Mild cold symptoms, dizziness, very fatigued after doing the slightest little thing. About a week later came a slight cough and loss.of taste and smell (for about 2 weeks).
