Covid twice in 6 weeks or long covid?

I had covid 6 weeks ago with minor symptoms.

I have since had many of the listed symptoms of long covid , I have tried to get a doctors appointment but I am struggling. I also own my own business, working full time with a 3 year old toddler, its outside work in the wet and mud!

My friend died of covid last week so it's all a bit raw.

I have now , in the past few days developed a mouth ulcer and a bit of a dry throat and I'm terrified I have it again. If I go for a test it will come back positive as it's only been 6 weeks since my last test.

Has anyone with long covid had ongoing symptoms come and go?

In the 6 weeks following a positive test I've had
Anxiety
Depression
Fatigue
Chest pain
Palpitations
Sore throat
Tinnitus
Sleep issues

I have never had a cough or temperature..

Anyone else had similar experiences?,

All except the sore throat and tinnitus could in theory be anxiety🤔

It sounds quite a typical pattern, feeling like you're recovering/recovered, then downhill again. I've seen quite a few people getting on-going chest pain/palpitations/fatigue/depression type symptoms (I'm a nurse). It can be a long road, there are support groups out there. I don't think you could catch it again so soon, although people have had a second infection, I don't think it could happen so soon? Good luck and I hope you feel better soon x

Sounds more like anxiety to me.

If you test again you may very well come back positive from the first infection, just from dead virus.

It is really common for COVID symptoms to come and go for weeks after the initial infection - not everybody recovers in 10 days by any means. You may end up with long COVID or you may find that your symptoms dwindle and start to disappear (they may flare up again if you over exert yourself or when your period is due for quite a while).
