Vaccine headache

Am absolutely delighted to have had my Covid vaccine.
I had the AstraZeneca almost two weeks ago- the first dose.
Anyone else had a headache that's lasted this long after the vaccine?
I've had regular Covid tests through work and negative so I can't put it down to that plus I've no other symptoms.
Just curious.

Great news @JenTTC1981! Wish I lived where you do - when I tried getting even a GP appt yesterday there was nothing until Friday.
If your head's still bothering you, I really recommend steaming. I thought it wouldn't be 'enough' but it's really helped me.

@JenTTC1981 - oh you're very near me. Kingston is my most local 'proper' hospital. So same borough but very different GP response.

North East. Normally pretty good, but yesterday took half an hour to get through to 111 abs no GP appointments. Probably all these people who've been told to contact their GP if they get a headache

Hi, I had AstraZeneca first dose two weeks ago and have had a heavy head daily ever since. Could this still be the side effects? I am starting to really worry after the news clotting scare. Plus even if it goes away say after a total of three weeks, I am concerned whether it would be risky getting the second dose.

If anyone's worried do seek medical help. I think the more we shout about this, the more pressure there will be for the UK government to investigate and clarify the situation.

But, just as a side note and hopefully reassurance, hayfever has hit my family hard this week. My daughter can't stop sneezing and my nose is blocked. I have a very slight headache that could be sinuses or tension (I'm very stressed about this blood clot news) but have a feeling that the headaches they mean are severe, not 'barely there' like mine currently is (and I pray it stays that way!)

I had my second dose 11 days ago. Headache the day after wentaway with paracetamol. Got another today.

I was lucky/unlucky to get first dose day before all the clot info came out. I have anxiety anyway so doesnt help. I know chances are extremely slim but i cant help my mind going to these places!

It could just be a combo of the heat and not drinking enough. But waiting for a month to pass is so draining mentally...

I shouldnt have got it so early either, i only got it because I had gestational diabetesin my pregnancy last year, but turns out there was a coding error

Hey! I’m exactly the same. I feel bit confused and out of it like spaced out!!! Then I panic about the wat I feel like why am I not feeling like my self, who am I! So strange
