Don't know what to do for the best

I've been sending DS to pre school but I'm really anxious about it, as good as their procedures are hand washing, masks for drop of and collection, wiping down toys etc they can't social distance and the staff are in close contact with the kids and the kids are with the others kids.
Our area has had cases where primary schools have had several cases lately and it's making me nervous.
My reasons for sending him are because he starts school in September and he really struggled to settle into pre school when he started but now he loves it and enjoys going and mixing with the other children. He is an only child so he isn't seeing any other child besides pre school.
What would you do? Is everyone sending their children still?

I’m sending my four year old but that’s because I work and it’s so difficult otherwise (especially since I’m homeschooling older sibling). If I wasn’t working, I wouldn’t send her for a few weeks but she doesn’t really like it there and her friends aren’t going because their parents are being cautious.

I don’t think there is an overall right or wrong. It’s what works for you. You can always assess day by day or week by week what works for you.
