Multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) in toddlers.. Worried!!

My household have been ill with covid, i tested positive on 11th January. My 2 year old hasn’t shown any symptoms other than complaining of a tummyache here and there.

Tonight she has woken up crying about her tummy hurting and has projectile vomited 5 times! I’m now in a panic about MIS. I’ve been waiting for 111 to call me back for an hour!

Has anyone experienced a toddler with covid or MIS?

My 6 year old had covid and as her temperature hadn't gone within a week we had to take her to hospital to get checked over. She didn't have MIS but the paediatrician told us what they look out for:

High fever that doesn't resolve with paracetamol and continues for more than a few days, a rash, sickness/upset tummy, off food and drink. There may have been other signs that I have missed. They took a blood test to look for infection and inflammatory markers which came back normal and so they were able to rule MIS out. You have definitely done the right thing contacting 111 and hopefully you will be seen and it will be ruled out.
