Hello, has anyone else been selected and received the antibody test in the post this week?

I got mine yesterday and tested last night.

Negative result. Not really surprised as we have been careful and no one has been ill luckily.
What was your result and did you expect that result?

Is this separate to the Imperial College study? I had the letter yesterday but I think it's just for a random test, not to test for antibodies.

My husband did this this week too. Negative. He is a store manager so we were a little intrigued however I am NHS and had an antibody test last year and was negative too. We have been careful though.

Yes, I did it last night, negative as well

Yes and negative again! Had 2 pcr tests for Zoe app and now two antibody tests all negative

Needingsupportplease · 28/01/2021 13:15

Yep DH last night. Negative

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 28/01/2021 13:16

I paid privately for one. Negative despite DD testing positive in November. I thought I’d had it last March so I guess antibodies would have waned by now. DH was quite unwell when DD tested positive so he’s going to get an antibody test as well and see what comes back.

Was it a finger prick test? I tried to do one last week but couldn't get any where near enough blood to fill up the printed circles on the card, as requested. I'm fully expecting an inconclusive result...

I've done it twice now. Once in April and once in November. Both negative. I was surprised I was in London for the first 6 months of last year. All my colleagues have had it. I thought maybe I would be an asymptomatic carrier. I have consented for my DNA to be looked as part of a study to see if there are genetic reasons why some people have immunity. Obviously it could be I had it mildly and anitbodies wore off.
