When I am vaccinated, will the antibodies show up in an antibody test?

I thought I read somewhere that the antibodies that the vaccine gives you don't show up, for example, in a typical cassette antibody test (like the Roche ones) as they're 'synthetic'. I can't find the article now - does anyone know whether this is true or not.

but they are not synthetic though, they are made by your body in response to the spike protein

The Roche test is based on the n antigen which isn’t in the vaccine, so your vaccine induced antibodies wouldn’t show.

Sorry, synthetic was the wrong word (not even remotely scientific!). Hopefully they'll develop an antibody test that shows antibodies from the spike protein

Apparently not, I’m asplenic and have been told there’s no way to know if I’ve developed antibodies after the vaccine.

There are tests that will tell you, the Abbott test is based on the S1 protein.
