Testing the kids (who haven't left the house)

Sorry if this has been done to death!
One moaning all day about a tight chest. What a weird thing to moan about. (10)
The other moaning about back ache and sore throat. (13)

Really mopey the pair of them.

They haven't left the house since school finished in December - well, we walk the dog but we don't see anyone.
I have left the house in the last week for the first time. I've been into work once (mask, distance and only saw 4 people anyway) and the supermarket once. I reckon I had Covid at Easter last year.

Have they got whinge- itis or do I take their odd random comments seriously.

Not that they are going anywhere but I do need to pop back to work occasionally.

THANKS

I'd take them seriously! Might be nothing but surely it's best to check?

Would any of these explanations fit?
Tight chest-anxiety??
Back ache - sat at desk all day home schooling with few breaks
Sore throat -tired/ lack of sleep

I'm being a bit useless but should they do a proper test or the turn up it might not be accurate but hey ho test ?

Both will hugely upset my DD who won't cope with the swabbing... which is better/easier?

Or get one at home which I know she may let me do.
I've been a bit too blinkered over the testing world of late.

I'd take it seriously and I'd test them. Ds1 had COVID in December and his symptoms were a blocked nose, sneezing and a sore throat. We only picked it up when I caught it and got a cough too - we all had it last March/April too.

@JS87
Yes. Back ache from home school but DD has been home learning at her desk since early November so why now has she got back ache ?

DS is the chest - his routine again hasn't altered at all

Eeek. Typing that is more series !
