And are tested weekly for covid,how long has it been taking to get your results?
And are they sent directly to you?

We started weekly testing last week, which was collected by courier at 3pm Friday and still haven’t had any results which I find surprising, just wondered if these weekly work ones take longer in other peoples experience?

Hi there. We have one test that gets sent away every work. I normally have mine on a Monday and it goes back Wed or Thurs but has been known to be longer. We have had these tests since June or July. We now have 2 lateral flow test a week on top which we have the results back within 20 mins.

To me, if the tests don't come back promptly then there is no point to it. Some weeks ours have take 5-7 days...now its about 2.

We do lateral flow tests twice a week but those are done at home, results in 20 minutes.

Tested weekly since July. Results have varied but recently have been back next day. Results go to manager. We also have lateral flow tests as well.

Oh that’s interesting that some people don’t even get results. A friend who works in a nearby home has hers txted and emailed to her work email so I just expected our would be the same and that we would be told directly either way. Maybe that why I haven’t heard anything, one would hope they would inform staff immediately if anyone’s come back positive, unfortunately my workplace aren’t exactly on the ball with stuff at the moment so I don’t have a great deal of faith in them.

I should have said that manager gets the results, but only tells us if it's a positive/inconclusive result.

Can I ask whilst we are on the subject and just interested, have any of your or anyone you work with tested positive on the lateral tests. The only positives we have were picked up on the PCR but negative on the LFT. Just wondering how accurate they are.

Well, test results back 6am this morning....a full 7 days since test, quite shocking really!

We have weekly testing. We were sent a dozen tests. We post them off weekly.
