CEV 16-18 year olds are currently in category 5-6, I forget which

16/17 yo are priority 6 if they have an underlying health condition.

They can have bioNtech vaccine.

AZ is not licensed for under 18's in this country (yet!)

I'm not sure why though - my teenagers haven't grown in the last couple years and are definitely physically closer to adults than children.

Gosh how are they getting so much vaccine to be able to do that when other countries are struggling to vaccinate health care and elderly?

Israel have a deal with phyzer. They get supplies of vaccine in return for a vast amount of data and ongoing studies. They are ideally set up for this because of the way their health system works. I think we will all benefit from the knowledge gained.

Plus of course Israel has a very small population compared to us.
