Travel abroad to see family during Easter school holidays?

Is this a remote possibility? Very hard to say for sure I know but if schools are reopened by then as seems possible will this be allowed? I have a friend who is hoping to visit family in Chile then.
They won't have been vaccinated by then but aren't worried about that if travel is allowed by then.

Not impossible, but improbable I'd say.

I wouldn't bet on it. If the schools go back it'll be phased and I don't see the world opening up quickly. Sorry

It's highly unlikely to be encouraged but whether they would literally stop you boarding a flight is a different matter then quarantine for 2 weeks possibly in a special hotel on return at your cost is also quite likely.

Thanks. I think there have been exceptions to travel for those visiting family at earlier points in the restrictions. Not 100% sure though but wondering if this would be treated differently to leisure travel?

If the airline will require vax, she could ask at her local centre/s whether they have unused ones at e/day she could have.

Somehow I doubt whether we will be back to unrestricted travel and more complex requirements might weed out other hopefuls who couldn't get a vax or clear covid test before travelling.

Not sure anyone would be policing the "family visits" as a reason Hmm
