Households and Covid viral load

I have a question regarding viral load and living with other people. If you are a large household, say 7 people, then should you be more careful now at home? Because if one person picks up Covid and you are the last person in the household to get it, could the viral load for you be much higher? So no cutlery sharing, lots of window opening etc etc.
The reason I ask this is that they are showing a lot of clips on TV now of whole families ending up in hospital. Perhaps some families genetics could play a part/life style factor but could it be increased viral load too? I know they tell us to self isolate at home from other family members who get it, but what about the period before they know they are positive?
