It's the report that was on bbc at 6

www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/health-55724994

ripples101 · 19/01/2021 22:27

That was heartbreaking and very difficult to watch.

I'm not breaking the rules, so do I need to watch it too? My MIL caught covid in hospital, absolutely no rule breaking there.
justanotherneighinparadise · 19/01/2021 22:30

I’m also not breaking the rules. Not going for walks either. Do I have to watch?

hamstersarse · 19/01/2021 22:31

Calm down dear

trilbydoll · 19/01/2021 22:31

We didn't even take the chain off the front door today. Unless that video says COVID carries lock picks and bolt cutters, I'm not sure I need to modify my behaviour.

GirlCrush · 19/01/2021 22:32

i see rule breakers daily but not allowed to call them out on it

MaxNormal · 19/01/2021 22:33

Learn!!! Be ashamed!!!

I'm sorry but this site is becoming more deranged by the day.

Incyra · 19/01/2021 22:33

Difficult watching but I so agree with you everyone needs to watch this especially people who don't follow the rules.

Frodont · 19/01/2021 22:33

Apart from going for my deserted country walks in a full haz mat suit I'm not sure there's much else I can do.

My 21 year old dd is going to visit her boyfriend tomorrow though. They've both had and recovered from Covid so I can't get too worked up about it.

TaighNamGastaOrt · 19/01/2021 22:36

Have you mistaken MN for FB?

I don’t break the rules, but I still have to go to work and not wear a face mask. Let’s not stigmatise people who catch the virus and believe they have caught because they broke the rules.
SuffolkPunch27 · 19/01/2021 22:42

here have my first Biscuit on the house
Honest to god.....what even is the point of this comment -
"Learn! Be ashamed!"
I'm abiding by the rules and haven't been out the house properly in weeks. Going stir crazy - do you still require me to take part in you "quest" and watch these videos?
Bugger that.
Off you pop dear

vodkaredbullgirl · 19/01/2021 22:42
Biscuit
roarfeckingroarr · 19/01/2021 22:46

I was invited to a house party today OP, where the host told me he's requested £200 per person on the door as a deposit to pay any potential fine. Apparently the attendees list is quite long - people have had enough of lockdowns.

I'm not going because it's just a bit stupid.

KeepWashingThoseHands · 19/01/2021 22:49

Reason there are so many cases is largely govt policy failings. Does it mention that in video or are we projecting a lot of blame to deflect.

Frodont · 19/01/2021 22:53

Jenny harries said today thst schools in London might open before others because they'd had the new variant of covid first (despite my area in the sw never coming anywhere near the London figures)

So what's the point of following the rules? May as well all get it and then we might get back to normal quicker (I'm not being completely serious but that's what she seems to be saying)

WineInTheWillows · 19/01/2021 22:54

Watch it, maybe? It's only 6 minutes long. (I would use the BBC link PP posted though, rather than the apple one).
AdoraBell · 19/01/2021 22:55

SIL should watch that, but she won’t because no rules apply to her.
