I don’t think those reports will stop the hardened rule breakers. The rest of us are basically following the rules anyways.

Msmcc1212 · 19/01/2021 22:57

roarfeckingroarr

If that’s true then can we assume you will be reporting them as that is illegal and immoral and could lead to many deaths?

AcornAutumn · 19/01/2021 22:57

I can't use either of those links

What miraculous information does it have?

DameCelia · 19/01/2021 23:01

ODFOD
You lost all credibility when you started in with the hysterical language Hmm

Jetatyeovilaerodrome · 19/01/2021 23:05

@Justa47

So all the people who rationalise their breaking of rules watch!!!

Learn!!! Be ashamed!!!

Oh, I didn't realise this was the OP and thought another poster was being facetious! Oh dear...
toocold54 · 19/01/2021 23:07

No

You do know you don’t have to comment on every post you read. OP wasn’t talking to you personally 😂
Either give an opinion or don’t and move on, what’s the point in just writing no. It’s pretty pathetic.

TrainspottingWelsh · 19/01/2021 23:09

I was going to throw a huge illegal rave tomorrow, and then spend the weekend visiting the in-laws and popping in to the homes of all the local elderly and any friends that couldn't make it to my party. But now some online random has told me not to, I have LEARNT and I'm ASHAMED.

Thank you so much for educating me op, I'm sure with just a few more informative posts you'll have covid eradicated.

JulieJJ · 19/01/2021 23:09

That was so Sad. That poor young couple with the husband in ITU and his wife outside. We are sticking to the rules and I think most are that I know. But the slow, indecisive reactions from the government are to blame. Why is it only now that we ask for negative corona tests before coming in to the country , why did our schools open for one day, why was mixing encouraged at Christmas. Its endless.

grapewine · 19/01/2021 23:10

@MaxNormal

Learn!!! Be ashamed!!!

I'm sorry but this site is becoming more deranged by the day.

Agreed.

Breathe. I'm pretty sure randoms on the Internet telling strangers to be ashamed is not going to have the desired effect.

I'm practically a hermit at this point so do not come at me about "killing people".

WineInTheWillows · 19/01/2021 23:11

Why can't you use the BBC link, just out of curiosity?

Essentially it's a propaganda video showing the staff at the Royal London struggling to cope with the ill COVID patients and focussing on the young and previously well. It does make you feel for the staff because they're clearly having a truly rotten time of it.

Kokeshi123 · 19/01/2021 23:14

How do you know it's "rule breakers"? The virus also spreads among key workers, kids who have to be in school, within households etc.

AwaAnBileYerHeid · 19/01/2021 23:14

I've not watched the video. However I don't think that the type of person who goes about willy nilly breaking the rules and putting others at risk are the types to care about any video or indeed their own actions and how they impact others.

TheGreatWave · 19/01/2021 23:16

I did actually watch the BBC report and what struck me was the staffing levels. It is a virus, people will get ill, people will die, this isn't unique to the UK, but there is staff doing the workload of 2 / 3 people, there's a whole load of reasons why this is, but the effect is still the same.

I'll protect myself, I can't do much more than that.

AcornAutumn · 19/01/2021 23:16

Wine I don't have a TV licence.

I know Covid staff, everyone is different of course.

So it's just more "I didn't sign up for this" from medical staff who ...entered the medical profession? One of my late father's pet hates (doctor).

kirktonhouse · 19/01/2021 23:18

I can't see a thing - the light from your halo is blinding me!

TheGreatWave · 19/01/2021 23:18

I'm pretty certain acorn isn't in the UK, so unable to access the reports.

PickAChew · 19/01/2021 23:19

Watch what?

TheGreatWave · 19/01/2021 23:19

Or doesn't have a TV licence good move

katy1213 · 19/01/2021 23:20

And even in the hospital, the man who lost his wife only half an hour before is wearing a flimsy paper mask that's falling off his nose!

AcornAutumn · 19/01/2021 23:22

Don't, you'll set off one of my rants about nosocomial infection and infection control measures, including the wankers letting film crews into hospitals! Angry
Ohbuggeroffcovid · 19/01/2021 23:24

Our entire house caught Covid over Christmas caught from DD who caught it from school. I haven’t broken the rules once and it still went the house like a dose of salts. Dd now on week 4.

cuparfull · 19/01/2021 23:26

@Frodont

Apart from going for my deserted country walks in a full haz mat suit I'm not sure there's much else I can do.

My 21 year old dd is going to visit her boyfriend tomorrow though. They've both had and recovered from Covid so I can't get too worked up about it.

You bloody should given they can catch it again and indeed carry it to pass on to other people! Hopefully none of your family will be knocked on the head by an errant branch or break an ankle down a rabbit hole on your deserted country walks! Because the NHS dont have staff or beds for you so fix your own concussion and broken ankle Twat! So many fucking selfish people on here

WineInTheWillows · 19/01/2021 23:27

Wine I don't have a TV licence.

Are you sure you need one for that? I thought it was only for live TV and iPlayer.
www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/explainers-51376255

I think it was just the emotional impact of seeing so much death they were struggling with. Though the woman they showed crying about the number of deaths was the hospital mortician.

WouldstrokeTomHardy · 19/01/2021 23:27

Please stop. OP you need to calm down. I agree it's a mess but approach it as calmly as you can and try to rationalize.
