Anyone with hypothyroidism had covid?

My household all got covid over Xmas (brought home from school by DS). We all had the mild, flu-like version, wouldn't recommend it but never felt like we needed medical help. 4 weeks on everyone apart from me is out the other side. I went back to work as normal but found the fatigue, brain fog, lack of concentration and muscle weakness and shakiness on the slightest excertion too much. Still have lung pain and a slight lingering cough, but actually they aren't the debilitating things. I've been put on antibiotics and told to rest.

What this feels most like is uncontrolled hypothyroidism. I haven't found any info about the effect of catching covid on hypothyroidism (some the other way round), and wondered if fellow travellers wanted to share?

Thought so. Don't think I've had those. I've just made a Gp appointment, thanks for the nudge. This has been really getting me down.

Does anyone else feel like they put up with more than others would?! I've been hypo my whole adult life and my thresholds for exhaustion and pain is quite high. I just make allowances for it.

I don't think it's b12. I've been through tests they did in 2019 for this; b12 is fine there.

OMG, I’m actually crying while typing this. I thought I was going mad and didn’t understand why Ive been having these seriously weird symptoms. I have an under active thyroid and am on 25mg currently. I was diagnosed with under active Thyroid last September. After the second dose next day, I started to have what I describe as palpitations. My friend a doctor was sitting next to be and checked my heart rate and said no you are just fine..this is anxiety.. but I can feel them and they make me very anxious. A month later after another blood test , I had to move up to 35mg. The palpitations got worse, really slow thoughts, very anxious. I had covid in March ( not tested ) and then in December ( tested) and was very very ill this time. Recently in the last couple of weeks I have developed horrible palpations, the ecg reveals normal rates. I am dizzy, sometimes feel faint with beating. My thoughts are slow or wheezing past. And loads of hair loss! . I feel a sense of doom. I’m 55 years old. Truly horrible. 3 doctors have said nothing to do with covid, or Levothyroxine. It is anxiety. My doctor has let me go back down to 25 mg because I insisted the palpitations were due to the tablets. When the dose went down the palpitations were not as intense, but day 5 i was very tired with brain fog and last night they came back at 3am and stayed ! I am having them now...Do people also experience extreme thirst and shivers? Can I take this zinc for the hair loss do you think? I am so glad I found you all!!!! This morning I was very upset and decided that even if it is a few years, it will get better! The human body is a remarkable thing and tries to mend all the time. Please let’s keep posting and supporting each other. Love and big hugs to everyone 💐💐💐💋💋

Also sorry one more symptom. Internal tremors. I have these constantly. Does anyone experience these too?
