Can we go and see MIL?

DH gran is dying.

Days rather than weeks MIL has been told. She has spent the last year 10 years caring for her mum since her dad passed away and moved in with her after she had a fall almost a year ago.

She has struggles mostly alone this year.

When Dgran dies, is DH allowed to go and comfort his mum?

I can't find info on this online and DH has been very anxious about breaking the rules and so I want to give him the piece of mind to comfort his mum without worrying.

Thank you

Of course he can go, support is allowed.

Yes

But she isn't a single adult. Her husband is with her.
Still allowed? I am pretty sure it is but was hoping to find some info.

I don't know what the rules are surrounding this, but absolutely he should go. He and his mum will need each other.

When they thought my dad was dying in December ( my city was tier 3) the hospital allowed us all to visit. We had to go 1 by 1 and wear PPE but we were allowed. Has your DH called tge ward and asked?

If it is not covid they may allow close family . Sorry for the sad situation.
