Has anyone has confirmed covid just with gastro symptoms?

Stomach ache, d&v? Have had all the above for 36 hours. Have ordered a test in the post to be sure but I don’t think it will be here for a while. No chest or breathing issues, no cough or temp

I had Covid in March and I had mainly gastric symptoms.
I would test if I were you.

Thanks. I’ve read that covid with just gastro symptoms is often a milder form so hoping if I’ve got it then it won’t get too bad. Test on its way to me so hopefully it’ll get here soon

My sister and her housemates all caught covid and for two of them the only symptoms they had were gastro.
Let us know your test results, fingers crossed

OP, please get a test.
Sorry, but it can be the first symptom, before developing further into the more 'mainstream' Covid symptoms.
I hope you feel better soon.

Does anyone read the OP anymore? She’s already said she’s getting a test.

Haha yes, twice now actually! Thanks, it’s so hard to know what is bloody covid and what isn’t! I’m in my thirties with no health conditions so hopefully will be fine if it is covid but I do have quite a bit of anxiety around it

I had a colleague late October only have gastric symptoms. She had the initial 2 weeks off (with a couple of days before actually) came back to work for a few weeks then signed off for another fortnight as she was competely exhausted and still struggling with her stomach. She was back in for December but on a bit of a phased return. We only have her on rota once a week instead of twice like other teaching staff as she was ill again over Christmas.

Me and a friend went to a gig in March. She caught classic Covid, I had a week of severe stomach pain, exhaustion and a terrible headache. Looking back it was possibly Covid too.

Yes. Family member had slight fever 2 days and diarrhoea 5 days. Positive. And for good measure did antibody test later just to make sure it really was covid.
