Call 111

Ring 111 you need medical advice.

Restlessinthenorth · 16/01/2021 08:37

Please don't get advice from here. Get it from an appropriately placed medical professional. There is a coronavirus helpline you can call, 111 or your GP if they open Saturdays. Please don't leave it

Bagelsandbrie · 16/01/2021 08:38

Ring 111.

ZigZagInToTheBeach · 16/01/2021 08:40

Ring 111 urgently. Keep an eye on his oxygen levels in the mean time and ring 999 if they continue to drop.

AldiIsla · 16/01/2021 08:40

You could rub an onion his chest? Or get him the medical help he clearly needs?

HoneyPea · 16/01/2021 08:42

111 I had Coronavirus in December and I'm asthmatic. I was sent to the hospital by my doctor and they gave me steroids. Still don't feel great now but definitely needed the steroids to help initially.

RuthW · 16/01/2021 09:04

Sats that low, call 999

Kittykat93 · 16/01/2021 09:09

Mumsnet is not medical advise. Call for help ffs !

gooseygooseywanderingfree · 16/01/2021 09:22

I really hope you were on hold to 111 whilst posting on here.
He needs medical help, he's hypoxic. Hope he's ok, OP Thanks

Use another phone to call your Drs while you wait for 111. Many of them are doing 'virtual corona wards' monitoring & advising, calling an ambulance when necessary.

Just to reassure you a bit. My aunty (67) positive Covid test, asthmatic, cuddly, had sats of 90, and managed it at home. She's now MUCH better (she got it just after Christmas) so try not to be too scared, but do call 111/GP X
