I've just seen this on Facebook about the trials in Lancaster for a vaccine spray, similar to the flu one.
This would be ideal for my 6 year old extremely vulnerable child as they aren't giving children other vaccines. In the video it says that it will be suitable for juveniles but does anyone know if it will be a live vaccine?
My son cannot have the flu spray for this reason, or the MMR as that's also live.

I thought at first that the Oxford AZ vaccine was a live vaccine as it is a virus but I think as it doesn't replicate in humans and is a virus which is harmless to humans it isn't classed as a live vaccine.
This virus seems to be able to replicate in humans but is harmless. So I'm not sure if that could be classed as a live vaccine or not. Following as interested.
