Studying in nearby house

We all have Covid but not too ill fortunately. Positive test 2 days ago. DD is studying for uni exams that start soon and finds it impossible to concentrate here with the other DC running around and DH and I now trying to WFH with zoom meetings.

My friend has an empty property (still fully furnished) 2 minutes walk away that she's offered to us for DD to study in. No one else has been in it for months or will be going in it any time soon.

We are semi rural and it's unlikely she would meet anyone on the way.

But that would be illegal wouldn't it.

I guess I've answered my own question.

Would any of you risk it?

Since your household actually has covid, no. You can’t.

If it’s near and no one is there and won’t be I would say yes- no risk to anyone. But probably others will disagree.
