DH was having a minor surgery on Monday but DS bubble has burst at school today (both critical workers) does this mean that the op won’t go ahead?

It's your DC that has to isolate not the family though

Will they test beforehand? Has he had a preop appointment yet? Only dc has to isolate but they may advise delaying op.

I'd ask the hospital tomorrow. Slightly different but I know when my DC was isolating the GP surgery didn't want me to attend.

Sorry meant to clarify when my DC1was isolating due to bubble bursting not symptoms.

Check with the hospital, it’s your DS who needs to isolate not the whole family so the procedure should go ahead,

Yes DH had his Covid test and pre op today. We were isolating this weekend ready for Monday.
I wasn’t sure with DH in theory being able to go out of the house? We will ring tomorrow and find out - thanks all

Yes only your son needs to isolate, the rest of you can leave the house as normal.

For all appt. Ive had this year they ask if anyone in household has heen asked to isolate. I dont think its worth the risk.

Yes - got confirmation yesterday from infection control Hernia op is going ahead DS will be day 7 of isolation.
