Usually my own body temperature is like 36.7/36.8/36.9 in the morning after waking.
Usually it rises during the day to about 37/37.1/37.2/37.3.
In the evening time the temperature is higher again with some readings like 37.4/37.5
Lately over the past few days I am experiencing some elevated temperatures. It comes down again quickly and often without medicines. Yesterday evening I got a reading of 37.9. In the other ear I got a reading off 37.7. Then they came down without any cold water or medicines and I kept taking my temperature over the course of them 5 minutes and I got see saw readings.
37.9
37.8
37.7
37.6
37.5
37.4
All within the same 5 minutes.
I'm isolating now and aside from that I feel good. I don't feel ill or sick. I followed the public health guidelines and I kept my contacts low. There's no one in my close contacts with symptoms or with a positive case. I don't use public transport and I have limited time in grocery shops. My partner had a light cold the week before last but I don't think that was covid because he lives with his parents who are elderly and his parents are not sick.
I'm baffled as to what could be causing the elevated temperature and for the temperature to fluctuate.
I'm not able to identify any other pain in my body for a bacterial infection.
