Anyone had the Oxford/AZ vaccination?

If so, how did you feel after your first dose?

I had mine this afternoon and feel like I could fall asleep standing up! Is this normal?!

Is it just me?

Had mine yesterday. Feel wrung out today. I woke up at 3am, I’ve had a headache all day and a thirst on me like I’ve never had in my life. Just glad I’m off today as I’ve also been a clumsy arse.

@Stealthfart hope you are feeling better soon. Did paracetamol help with the headache? Not looking forward to the mix of homeschooling and WFH tomorrow whilst feeling shit!

Only just had my first paracetamol, I’ve been trying to manage without it. Let’s just say homeschooling has been quite a relaxed affair today! Good luck for tomorrow.

Yeah I had a headache later in the day, then really badly in the night. Felt tired the next day and then back to normal the following day. It will pass quickly! Take the paracetamol/ibuprofen :-)

I was quite ill with mine, severe body aches, fever and headache and off work for two days.

@wellyjellymelly sorry to hear that. How soon did those symptoms start? Did you have the AZ vaccine?

Yeah AZ. I was tired pretty much straight away and the flu like symptoms started about 24 hours after.

I had it on Saturday and had tiredness and headache on Sunday. After that been fine.

Thanks for all the replies. The tiredness was really sudden and my eyes felt so heavy! Feeling slightly better now (thanks to caffeine) but having an early night anyway! Will expect the worst and hope for the best tomorrow.
