I started getting a dry throat and cough on Friday, with the cough getting worse on Saturday. I had the test Saturday, cough getting worse and worse, chest pain, temp and now very little taste and smell. The test has come back negative, but I did have to re do the throat swab three times as I kept hitting the roof of my mouth. I'm not even sure I got my throat properly as I couldn't stop gagging. I'm wondering if this would cause a negative result. My partner has now developed symptoms and is getting tested today, but given everything going on I'm going to isolate anyway just in case I do have it.
