I work in management for a chain of convenience stores.
The govt are ranting on about wanting us to patrol mask wearing in stores, praise Morrisons etc but don’t give us the tools to do it!
We would love to ban every person that isn’t wearing a mask and INSIST that exempt people wear a lanyard but when the guidance on gov.UK is still as attached it makes it really difficult as staff just get abused and this gets thrown in their face. Then we wait for someone to sue us on grounds of discrimination.
Give us the tools/back up to do it!
