Hi all,

I’m currently around 9 and a half weeks pregnant and haven’t told work about it yet. I work at Tesco 4 evenings a week. I’m really unsure when to tell them!

I wouldn’t normally do early however with the current climate I’m debating it.

What would you do?

I work at Morrison's & today is the day my maternity leave started - I'm 35 weeks & wasn't due to to leave until 25th January but with the new strain of virus I asked if I could go earlier as I felt at risk , they had no objection to it

I found out at 4 weeks I was pregnant ( in June , so lockdown was still a thing ) & told my PM at 5 weeks just so they knew.

I then had monthly risk assessments - where she would ask if I felt covid secure in the work place

Personally , I would recommend letting them know ASAP especially for your 12 week scan
