Anyone else tired of being on furlough now?

Just that really. I enjoy working and am starting to feel like my brain is turning into a marshmallow with lack of workplace stimulation.

I’ve tried to do different things at home but I’m starting to just feel rather “meh” with the whole situation

Anyone else fed up of furlough?

No furlough bashers please. That’s not what this thread is about.

No, but I'm using the time to diversify my business.
I'm not earning on top of my £250 pm furlough though.
I decided my business won't recover as it worked in the past, so had to think of something else.
Hopefully ready to launch for the summer.

I wasn’t working, and felt isolated and bored, even though I had things to do. So the other day I started volunteering at my local vaccine hub. It’s really nice meeting people, helping out, feeling valued, and no longer being isolated. I’d highly recommend it. And it comes with a bonus of a vaccine - I had mine today.

The shifts are only 4 hours long, so doesn’t take much out of your day.

I'm fed up. I work in a hotel so last year was furloughed from when the first lockdown was announced until mid July when we were allowed to re open. Now I'm furloughed again, I was last work on Christmas Day. I've no idea when Nicola Sturgeon will let hotels fully reopen - looking like it will be April at the earliest. This time I'm genuinely worried for my job - we had far less bookings than usual when we were open again for a few months and if that's the case again I don't see how my bosses can afford to pay everyone, we were working at minimum staffing when we went back as it was. All the non-furloughed folk say how much they'd love to have some time off but after a couple of weeks it gets boring (especially in the cold weather), there's nowhere to go and nothing much to do! Really hoping I can get back to work soon 🤞🤞
