For those of you who are feeling extremely anxious, can I ask that you watch the press conferences this week instead of reading newspaper headlines?

I’ve noticed so many people have heightened anxiety because they are focusing their attention on click- bait articles and threads on SM.

I too was rattling last week with things I had read online until I actually listened to the press conference and watched various interviews with the scientists working on this. Not the Twitter ‘scientists’ pontificating about possibilities, but the ‘actual people working on this’ discussing what’s happening right here and now and the plans for the near future.

Somehow threads on here and Twitter has led me to believe there were some very scary scenarios that hadn’t even been thought about by the professionals leading the committees. Then I watched the press conference and CW very clearly explained why certain decisions had been made and that yes, they were concerned about X but had made contingency plans for that and they had weighed the likelihood of Y happening and decided going down a certain route offered a higher probability of saving lives. Etc etc.
