How long are COVID test results taking at the moment?

Currently waiting on Tuesday’s results (care home) though staff who have visited walk in centres seem to have theirs within 48hrs.

Had mine 12:30 yesterday and received a txt 5pm today, the test center was very busy aswell

Baamoooink I think it depends on your location, we are North East and everyone I know has had their test backs in roughly 24hrs.

I had one on Friday morning at 8.30 and got the results today about 12.30 (lunchtime) BUT it was inconclusive so I went to do another one at 1.30 today so now I'm waiting for that one. And hoping it tells me one way or the other!

I had one last week on Sunday morning, got the results Monday AM.
Partner had his 4 days ago, still no result
