Just wondering if you had any side effects and if baby showed any signs of it affecting them. I'm likely to be offered it through work soon and have a 3 month old.

Well I felt a bit rough yesterday with aches/weakness/fatigue but feel fine this morning and baby has been fine throughout!

I had oxford astrazenica on Friday at 11.50am also bf my 19month old boy very often. He had a runny nose, was unsettled temperament and an off tummy. Slight temp too. I had fever, off tummy, painful arm, headache and achey body. Recovered well from it and glad I had it done but wish I had been more prepared for my son being ill x

Had my second vaccine the other day and bf my 21 month old. No issues and im hoping my antibodies have made their way to him!

@BungleandGeorge

I’m surprised those on maternity leave are being done already,
Friend of mine on mat leave has been done too though she's doing a KIT day this Saturday so has been quite well timed for her.

I had AZ this week. I felt really rotten all the next day but still fed 3 year old DS. The NHS are not advising breastfeeding mothers to avoid the vaccination so I happily had it.

Pfizer. Bf. All ok so far. Only had first dose a few weeks ago. Bf wasn’t even on the form.

I definitely felt a bit more nervous but I think that’s due to the lack of information. There is a study analysing breastmilk samples pre/post vaccination. You need to be within an hour of London.

Yep I had Pfeizer two weeks ago, am breast-feeding my 6 month old.
I felt a bit rubbish the next day, zero effects to baby. Having researched it I was satisfied there is no reason it wouldn't be safe to have whilst breastfeeding- I'm hopeful might even provide some protection to baby.

I had the Pfizer a few weeks back and am feeding a 3 yr old stupidly regularly, no issues here.

Iheardit · 22/02/2021 22:33

I had the Pfizer yesterday, felt achy today, peaked about 28 ish hours post vaccine, although nothing more than the aches you get with a cold. No issues with 5 month old.
