To anyone on MN involved with developing one of the Covid vaccines?

What an amazing achievement.

All those scientists. Huge integrity and generosity. Sharing so much data freely.

All those involved with logistics. Getting the labs, the right kit and people, where and when it was needed.

Everyone who enabled the testing to run parallel.

All those volunteers.

All that funding.

People are amazing. This last year has been pretty shit. Home schooling this week has been awful. Thank you all. I feel so hopeful for the future.

It really is amazing. I had my first dose of the Vaccine at the start of the week and no side effects. I have a young child and my Job is frontline so this provides me with so much reassurance and I am forever grateful to all those people who have worked so hard to get this going as quick as possible.

The pressure and circumstance they have worked under is immense. I hope all the scientists involved get the recognition they deserve in due course.

Yes, and they’ve had such an enormous responsibility placed on them. Think of how many people are relying on them (globally!) and how stressful that must be.
