How do you report a business for breaking COVID rules?

I don’t want to go into detail but was exposed to a breach of rules which put myself and others at risk. Has anyone had to report a business for breaking Covid rules?

I’ve looked on my local council website but can’t see anywhere obvious where I can lodge a complaint- anyone have any ideas? I’m only considering this as it is quite serious, I wouldn’t normally ‘snitch’ especially on a local business

Depends on what the rule is and the type of business so you will have to be more specific. If it was someone not wearing a mask it isn't worth reporting as they are likely exempt.

It was a food outlet and involved not adhering to hygiene standards and social distancing

If it's a retail business the statutory authority will be the LA - IE council (could be Upper or Medium Tier - if you contact/make complaint to one they'll let you know if it's the other)
