Someone at work told me she was at hospital with her adult daughter who was unwell and the children’s ward was full of kids with the coronavirus..Why would she even be anywhere near the children’s ward, got herself buzzed in through the security door and then asked why each patient was there??

She's obviously full of shit and just wants attention.
People are wierd

Because some people are tossers who love drama.

Like fuck she would've been let anywhere near a children's ward.

She probably overheard one parent in the corridor talking about their kids bad chest

Suddenly it’s a “ward full of Covid kids”

She genuinely seemed to believe her own tale 😂

I work in a hospital, my badge gets me into every door except maternity and paeds.

I needed to get some notes from paeds once and asked a doctor to swipe me in. He refused and said ring the bell, I’m not sure a random patient would be given free reign Hmm

She should work for the Guardian, at least they get paid for their doomsday headlines.

Fembot123 · 07/01/2021 18:35

I didn’t bother questioning her further as I don’t know her that well but I have quite an expressive face I can’t control so she probably knew I thought yeah right 😂😂

I don't think you can casually walk to the children's ward and be buzzed in without being questioned.
