An early sign of colds for me is always a thirst that I am not able to quench. I don't have that thirst. I do feel phlegm at the back of my throat and its a similar feeling for me. Now I am worried that this might be the start of a covid infection.
There is no one in my circle a positive or showing any signs of covid. One of the kids in the nanny family I work, was a close contact of a teacher before the Christmas but that child was tested twice and it was negative and never had any symptoms so I doubt there was covid in that situation.
I met with my partner a few times. We don't live together. His covid and infection awareness would be on the low side. Like I caught him wiping his nose all along his hand because he didn't have a tissue. I had to tell him to wash his hands. He had a cold last weekend. So far it hasn't developed into anything else. He brought me over his home for a dinner on boxing day. There was 8 other adults and 2 children.
There was nobody sick and there is no one sick from that group.
I kept Christmas shopping and crowds to a minimum.
I am afraid the phlegm I have at the back of the throat is an early sign of covid.
Anyone experience anything similar?
