Could these be the weirdest Covid symptoms?

Not been tested so don’t know if it’s really Covid but have had some really strange symptoms ...

Started with sore tickly throat for 2-3 days. In that time had only 2 or 3 coughing fits, mainly when trying to sleep, but was ok during daytime. No coughing except those 3 times. Over that time and into day 6/7 have not had chest pain, but a descending feeling of congestion that went further down my body over a day or two. I can feel my chest all the time, but wouldn’t describe as painful. After this I had stomach cramps and diarrhoea - once only. Then I needed to pee a lot and had some pains in my undercarriage - very mild and didn’t persist. Then pins and needles and sharp pains in my tongue that lasted an hour or so and have now gone.

Not had loss of taste or smell but horrible taste in my mouth when waking up for a few days. Never had temperature.

I feel ok now overall, no sore throat, no coughing, no pains, but I can “feel” my lungs in my chest.

I’m isolating anyway just in case and wouldn’t be allowed a free test without lying, just wondered if anyone else had any similar experiences?

Just get a test. They're definitely unusual symptoms and I certainly wouldn't go back into work with them so I would say a test was justified. You many have left it too late though, for an accurate result.

I recognise several of those symptoms and I'd recommend that you either test or finish your 10 day isolation. Agree that you may have left it too late to get an accurate test though.

Definitely isolating and only 3 days to go. Just worried it’s going to flare up seriously and hit me at some point and can’t wait for it to go

A test is probably a good idea

They could do to change the criteria though and the three main symptoms. I don’t think I’m the only one not to have any of the three main ones and others have tested positive

You have symptoms. They say changes to taste or smell. I'd get a test

EspressoExpresso · 07/01/2021 15:29

You should have got a test sooner. It's more accurate earlier on. It's not just about you knowing whether you have it, it's also about informing anyone you were in contact with 48 hours prior to symptoms too, who have also been carrying on as normal for the last however long

I hadn’t been anywhere or seen anyone for about a week so no worries there. I work at home and have online shopping. I do go on walks but that’s it
