Trying to make the best of (the hated) distance learning

I really hate this distance learning. I wanted the schools to remain open, but they are closed. It seems that there are a massive amount of children in the schools anyway, so I feel like my 3 children are missing out massively. I am likely to have to drop out of my studies (or get a bad grade) as my children needs constant supervision (tech issues, tears, lack of attention on the lesson).

But!

Today, I baked a chocolate cake and gave my children a warm piece each mid morning.

I helped DS to fill in a quiz about the Victorian era (he found it hard and was really upset) and we talked a bit about about the empire and about Jack the Ripper.

I printed out an extension worksheet off the internet for DD2 as she found the math lesson way to easy.

Anyone else?
