Rule of one with small children

Hi, don't shoot me down for this but I'm wondering about the rule of meeting one other person with a child under 5 (baby.) I remember there were exemptions last time. I'm a keyworker so my kids are in childcare but my friend is very lonely and isolated with her baby (9 months.) Was hoping that I could meet with her on my day off (when I would have my 1 and my 3 year old)

Anyone know if this is a thing again? If so do you have a link to the rules?

Think its been linked to already. Something about under 5s not counting in England

This is taken straight from the guidance under the section on exercising.

“Children under 5, and up to 2 carers for a person with a disability who needs continuous care, are not counted towards the gatherings limits for exercising outside.”

www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home

I would say yes you can meet your friend outside, just remain socially distanced.

You can form a support bubble with a family with a child under 1 I thought

I can't link as it depends on where you are but is easy to google. If you're in England the. no for exercise but it's possible to form a support bubble as she has an under 1 yo.
