NHS staff who have had the vaccine

Are NHS staff who have had the vaccine still required to isolate if in contact with a case? I’m just wondering how the pressure on the hospitals is going to be relieved if not? Obviously as more are vaccinated hospital numbers will fall but my understanding was one of the main problems at the minute is number of staff isolating.

Yes I imagine so as the vaccine doesn't take effect for a couple of weeks and I imagine can still carry it but not get the full symptoms.

Yes because we dont know enough yet about how much the vaccine prevents transmission, so although the person getting the vaccine is unlikely to become v unwell they could still pass it on to patients.
