Cancelled A Levels - CIE International Board - can they go ahead as normal?

Dd is doing CIE English Literature A level. They have put a statement out saying that they will be continuing to offer the exam worldwide and will be making a decision on the UK shortly.

Is it up to them? Can the Cambridge board insist on going ahead with exams?

It would be a bit odd if all A-Level exams were cancelled except one board.

Then again for the last year pretty much everything has been a little bit odd.

I've now seen on Twitter rhat they are deciding tomorrow. Dd is confused and worried!

They may have to offer the exam for overseas exam centres, it would then potentially be up to schools using them as to what to do

Try to take DD's mind off of this until you know for sure (if possible)

Personally I think that it is unlikely to happen (exam) but that is just me
