If you recently took a home Covid test how long did you wait for results?

We sent ours off on Monday after my son had symptoms. They said results on 2-5 days. I wonder which is most likely.

22 hours, but we went to a drive through test centre.

We did ours on a Sunday lunchtime post collected 3:30 received late Monday night early TUesday morning

That said DH did a drive through Sunday lunchtime (week before) and got his result Thursday morning

Really fast..Just under 24hrs from posting ( this week)

I posted mine at 8am on Monday - nothing yet.

About 40 hours from posting

Posted tests on Saturday afternoon. One came back Monday night 11pm, the other Tuesday night at around the same time.

Posted Friday early afternoon got the results 10pm Monday night

Appreciate it's a few weeks back now, but I posted one on 21 Dec and heard back (after chasing) late on 26 Dec. Hang in there! I remember promising myself to only check again after a few hours had passed because I was spending all day refreshing my emails 😅

Had two tests over last few months, home kit took 3-4 days and walk through was next day.

Any progress for the others on this thread who sent tests off this week? Still nothing here which means another day we can’t leave the house, another day I can’t work and another day the kids will all go insane!

I sent posted mine on Tuesday ... I was hoping I’d get the results today. Fingers crossed!

We received and sent ours back off on Tuesday (early afternoon) and really hopeful we get either today or or tomorrow as DC are going stir crazy...

Isolation makes lockdown feel like a holiday camp!!!

Also for those of you that received back is it more likely to come in email form (our pack said email or text) and is there a more likely time of day they will contact?

My husband got his (negative) result back this morning by email + text but I've heard nothing yet.....both tests posted by me at exactly the same time!

@theresnoonequitelikegrandma that was a test he sent on Monday right? There is hope for us today then. Weird you have not got yours though. Let us know when you do.

Received my result about this time (4pm) the day after I posted the test. Email and text came though at same time.

I took one on Monday and got the results today. It came in email and text. I've had three covid tests now and it seems they can come at any time of day.

Still no sign here. I’m getting worried they lost mine as other Monday results on this thread seem to be through.

Ugh. I feel like we will never be allowed to leave the house at this rate.

We got ours too. Just 30 mins ago. Positive too. But it’s my son and his symptoms all went after 24 hours. I hope the rest of us don’t it. How are you feeling @theresnoonequitelikegrandma ?
