Can I have a decorator round to paint my house?

I want to put my house on the market soon, but some of the rooms still need repainting. Can I get a decorator round to do this during lockdown?

I don’t want to do it myself as I’m totally useless at painting, plus I’m working full time whilst looking after the DC and am shattered.

The walls really do need painting before it goes on the market.

Does anyone know?

We had someone Measure up for carpets yesterday and gave booked the fitting so I would guess yes.

Yes you can, it's their job and they need to feed their family.

I’m in Scotland and cancelled our decorator as our guidelines appear to be different?

We had decorators yesterday and they are back today.

We are in Scotland too Doidontimmm and all the firms round our way are still working.
As DH is self employed if anyone cancelled on him it would be hard financially.

@FlamingGoat yes our decorator said he can still come but the rules clearly say no. We live in a small quiet cul de sac and only been here a few months so a bit worried about neighbours reporting. He has a van clearly marked so couldn’t say it was an emergency
