Lockdown until MARCH

BBC now reporting lockdown will now be until March, probably.

I actually can’t do this. Like, that’s easy to say but I really really can’t. How long can we go on like this

25 years ago no one would have done this, the economy would have been at too much of a standstill. There's a reason no one ever thought before of this wonderful plan to quarantine the healthy until the miasmas went away. It only works with Zoom and other technological supports in place.

But Chris Whitty literally said today that with their new vaccine approach they are risking releasing another rouge mutation. What if that happens ? This will literally be never ending

Vaccination always runs that risk I’m afraid.

I have a lot of faith in Whitty. He sounded completely behind this way of vaccination which I found reassuring.

Things will get better. ❤️

It’s not a so-called miasma. It’s an identifiable virus with an available vaccine. This is all a very rational plan, just a massive strain on everyone’s inner resources.

They are already starting to see illness from Covid falling in the over 80s due to vaccination. This will start to become more obvious over the next few weeks.

I really worry about the economy. I don’t know how my workplace will survive and what that will mean for my family. I am worried for a lot of people’s livelihoods. It’s very concerning.

I am also worried about other medical problems. A relative hasn’t been to a cancer appointment since this started. We don’t know what’s going on but there is no sign of an appointment on the horizon. Covid isn’t the only threat. But I’m not criticising the lockdowns, I don’t know how you do everything.
