I think so

The law comes into force Wednesday.

organisedmother · 04/01/2021 20:44

Yes it’s essential

daisypond · 04/01/2021 20:44

Yes.

StatisticalSense · 04/01/2021 20:45

Yes. The idea isn't to stop people dying from Covid by killing them through allowing unroadworthy vehicles on the road.

Dnadoon · 04/01/2021 20:46

Yes. Mot testers and mechanics cant work from home.

BlueBaubles12 · 04/01/2021 20:46

DH car has MOT and service tomorrow, expecting it to go ahead

Ozgirl75 · 04/01/2021 20:53

Definitely. We supply the motor industry and normal business doesn’t shut down, we worked throughout the last two lockdowns.

MOT's can still go ahead. Which is good cos ours is booked in on Weds

annevonkleve · 04/01/2021 20:56

Now we just need them to extend the validity of driving theory tests for those who passed in 2019 (fortunately my son passed in July 2020 so has some time to play with, but I think it will come round very quickly with so many delays to practical tests).
