So. We were living abroad and had relocated back to the UK due to Covid. Both my children have been homeschooled since March - 10 long months. My youngest is supposed to be starting his new school tomorrow, today is an INSET day. We are in Tier 4 but obviously, schools haven't been shut by Central Government here. No news from the school yey as to whether they are opening tomorrow (I'm thinking Sections 44's). On the other hand, I'm wondering if there will be a national lockdown announced? I'm here ironing on name tags on his school uniform with no clue what is going on tomorrow - like thousands of any other parents.
Does anyone else live in NW Leicestershire? Are you children back in school? To be honest, I think I'd rather keep him home....bit tricky to do on a first day. I'd rather the decision was made for me to be honest.
