Ours has been like this since March!

MercyBooth · 03/01/2021 23:20

Ours was like it last March too. We had an engineer out last May who replaced some wiring and worked on the phone point because they found a fault in here but he spent even longer at the bit outside the flat.

BT says line fault and needs openreach And that they may not have to come to the address. Does anyone on here think this is likely? BT had to come inside the flat last May and did a rewire so shouldnt need to come in again surely. That was during the first lockdown and i am now in a support bubble with my mum

I had that and it was a wire connection in the street. They resolved it pretty quickly.

MercyBooth · 04/01/2021 14:56

Ta Haggis. Got an e mail today saying it should now be working but am still having dropouts. They are saying after work on the network it can take 24 hours to stabilise again.

I have not but am in London, not rural parts of the country.

ProfYaffle · 04/01/2021 17:11

We're in a rural area and have been having similar issues. Like Haggis it's all down to connections in the street, they came and sorted it out reasonably quickly without coming into the house. It improved for a few months then went wonky again a few days ago, they're due to come out tomorrow.

Here we go again Six dropouts in 3 minutes. Website is showing a problem in our area.

Yes, every night around 9pm.

It's been crap since March though.

RingtheBells · 08/01/2021 06:35

We had this loads before Christmas and overall speed dropped right down, does seem ok now the majority of the time.

Trackandtrace · 08/01/2021 06:39

Ours has been ok but the education site for wales crashed on day 1 due to so many accessing it but was fine yesterday
