All of foundation not reopening?

Just had an email at 9.30pm saying the due to personal reasons eyfs won’t be return to work tomorrow. There are 2 classes and 4 teachers between them.

Do you think they will reopen? Seems abit strange.

no, if theres no teachers in then how can they?

I know of a school here (Birmingham) where they prioritised teaching staff for older year groups. Meaning that when some staff were unable to come in, Nursery & Reception were the first classes to close.

Maybe it’s similar? Or maybe the staff in those classes are striking tomorrow?

Nobody is going to be able to tell you that. There could be lots of reasons why. Maybe they are isolating, maybe there has been a break-in. maybe they are following their unions advice, maybe the SLT or governors have decided it's not safe, maybe the boiler is broken.
