Anyone here with severe asthma tested positive for Covid?

I've spent months dodging the bullet and feel it's just a matter of time before I catch the virus (live in London).
Fellow asthmatics, how was your experience? Does severe asthma = an inevitable hospital admission? The thought of this going on till the summer just fills me with dread.

I have read that asthma doesn't significantly worsen your prognosis - which surprised me. I think the medical thinking is that using your preventer inhaler gives you some protection.

I'm basically feeling the same anxiety as you OP, and just being very, very careful until I can get vaccinated (not in the UK, so that will be a while).
