Anyone else worried about their child returning to school tomorrow?

My dd2 is 14 and attends a SN school, because she’s at a SN school she can return to school as normal on Tuesday (Monday is inset day), school plan on testing all the high school children but they haven’t said when this will start or how it will be done. Obviously dd has SN’s but she doesn’t have any health concerns that would make her more at risk to covid but she has been hospitalised in the past when she’s picked up viruses (mainly due to refusing meds and refusing to eat/drink). Her school is in a tier 4 but we are in tier 3 and she shares a taxi with 2 others to get there, she can’t always cope with wearing a mask due to sensory issues.

Her sister is at 6 form at another school in tier 4 and is staying home until the 18th which is a huge relief.

I understand why some want schools to remain open and in a ideal world we all want our kids in school and we don’t want them to miss out on education but do worry that returning now will not help stop this virus spreading fast and I feel for the teachers.

Is anyone else dreading their kids returning?
