Day 8 for DD what can i give for the cough

Very tired still and a barking cough but no temperature. Even though she still has cough on day 11 she can leave her room and mingle is that correct?

Ive been giving paracetomal and ibuprofen but what can I do for the cough?

Honey always helps my sons coughs more than cough medicine. Would she have a tablespoon of it or a honey and lemon drink?

Honey is very good but also Pholcodine Linctus if she will take cough mixture. And yes, once 10 days are up she is "free" as long as she doesn't have a fever or nausea or diarrhoea and isn't sneezing.

If she is coughing at night it may help to put some pillows under the mattress so that she is sleeping in a more upright position than normal.
