Totally nailed it. Wants everyone to feel sorry for him having to do the hard job. Sure, it's very tough at the moment but this is what he wanted! And the bit about imagining Churchill having said any of these things is magnificent.

He’s hopelessly out of his depth. A large number of people are losing hope, and our leader looks and sounds like a defeated man.

He left his long-suffering wife for a much younger woman when she had cancer he is an actual piece of filth.

Once you’ve realised that this is his schtick, it’s quite confusing. I didn’t know whether to applaud his act or feel affronted that he thinks we are all so thick that he can get away with it....and then l remembered this !

The mind boggles ! I have read he messes his hair up purposely before public appearances. It feels like everything is fake with him, he is performing.

I had noticed it before. He's worried we'll blame him for making decisions, when all we want is a PM who does his job. I get the impression he thought in taking the PM role that he'd get to be some kind of Disney Dad to the whole nation, but circumstances have dictated that he ended up with full custody, and he doesn't like the responsibility.
